Name a genre and chances are the members of Distant Dice have played it.

For more than a decade, Mark, Joey and Peter taught music and gained
experience by playing in a number of local cover bands.

Mark is a Jazz guitarist who grew up playing Rock and Funk, and
dabbled in Electronic music and DJing. Joey is a classically trained
pianist who cut his teeth playing in Rock, R&B, and Jazz groups. On the
drums, Peter expresses his passion for Heavy Metal and Progressive
Rock.

In the summer of 2009, the three decided to write original music that
combined their experience and musical versatility. José later joined
the band bringing his rock-solid bass grooves.

Distant Dice’s smooth and soulful sound, combined with a high-energy
stage presence, shows how a group of diverse individuals can come
together to create music that’s both Rock and Jazz with a dash of
everything else in between.
